It's not really that bad

I am having one of my panics about not being a very attentive mother. It is spring semester of my son’s Junior year and I haven’t done a thing to help him get ready for college. I was freaking out so I read the Embassy warnings for Nicaragua to calm myself down. They are so dire – it actually says, don’t walk anywhere in Nicaragua if possible. Don’t take buses and don’t take taxi’s. If you get in a car, roll up the windows. While there is a grain of truth in all that they say, what would life be like if you actually did everything or didn’t do everything that they advise? No wonder no one wants to come here.
